RED BULL YOUTH SKATE PARK
ACCOUNT MANAGER | RIPPLEFFECT
RipplEffect, a corporate social responsibility focused production agency based in NYC, partnered with Red Bull and the Sheckler Foundation, to undertake a project for positive change within the skater community of San Jose, Costa Rica.
The project culminated on April 2, 2018 with a grand opening hosting 500 volunteers & local community attendees.
RipplEffect continues to work with San Rafael Extremo on youth programming and digital media training.
This community had been ostracized and was struggling to find a place to belong and skate safely. The project was dedicated to helping this community grow positively and find a home in the streets.
We began utilizing each partners strengths and securing the build site for a new skate park with local city and NGO partners.
To ensure positive community growth, we curated youth skate programming like "school before sk8," and coordinated a professional media team to document and produce content to share the story through paid and organic marketing channels.
